As a result of successful collaboration between our company and the Hanoi Vocational College of High Technology, on 17 July 2019, we opened a Wasserkabel test room at the Renewable Energy Research and Applications Laboratory of the Hanoi Vocational College of High Technology.
We were honoured to welcome at the opening ceremony the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to the People’s Republic of China and Vietnam Māris Selga, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to Vietnam Оleksiy Shovkoplias, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia, the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA), officials from the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the municipality of the capital city of Hanoi, as well as representatives of the business community of Latvia and Vietnam. The guests of the opening ceremony were able to evaluate the efficiency of the Wasserkabel water capillary mats technology in its cooling mode in the climatic conditions of Vietnam.
The Wasserkabel technology is installed in the ceiling of the laboratory space of 100 m2 – on one side of the room, the capillary mats are embedded in plaster while, on the other side – the capillary mats are installed in free-hanging mode, behind a decorative plastic grid. In addition, due to the hot and humid climate conditions in Vietnam, five cooling and humidity reduction devices with capillary mats are installed in the room to reduce the air humidity by 55-60%.
