Since August 2015, JSC “Wasserkabel Baltic” is implementing the project “Production Facility of Capillary Tube Mats in Latvia”.
Within the framework of the project, new production equipment was purchased that was delivered and installed in new production facility in Ventspils.
After installation, the project provided for staff training that was carried out on the new equipment.
In April, the project provided for a series of tests that were carried out at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim with materials that were made on the new equipment in order to carry out product testing for different versions of application and, as a result of the tests, to demonstrate the efficiency and capacity of the system.
In order to inform the Latvian construction sector about the new technology, for which the required capillary mats and other components will be produced by JSC “Wasserkabel Baltic”, in 2016, the company organized informative seminars, as well as a seminar in Rezekne and the final event in Riga in April 2017.
Articles were prepared for publications in the April 2017 issues of magazines “Deco”, “Latvijas Architektūra” and “Latvijas Būvniecība”. A video has been produced and made available on the company’s website in several languages to inform professionals and potential clients about the Wasserkabel technology and its products.
